HMER Dr OTIS Olorunsola JP visits commissioner for wealth creation, Ekiti State

On Friday 3rd May, 2024, the General Overseer of Living Christ Gospel Church Nig & Overseas, His Most Excellent Reverend, Dr OTIS Olorunsola JP and his team Visited the Hon. Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment Ekiti State, Otunba Kayode Fasae on a courtesy and prayer visit as part of his mandate for this season (praying for and supporting the government)



The commissioner and his team met with the living Christ team at exact 12:20pm and appreciated the church of God for her unalloyed support as exemplified by the visit.

His Most Excellent Reverend highlighted the pillars of the visit to be:


  1. Fraternization with the ministry
  2. Furnishing the ministry with the fact that many youths are there in Ekiti unemployed and unhappy and as a result are into cyber crimes 
  3. Channelling a sustainable and secure  future for the common Ekiti Youth 
  4. Building bridges between the ministry and the OAIC Bloc 
  5. Job security for Ekiti youths
  6. Pray with the commissioner.

In response, Mr Kunle oladele (a staff of the ministry) appreciates the church and thank the team for coming. He noted that the ministry for wealth creation and Employment is a new ministry with giant responsibility, he noted that no one can do it all and the church is an equivalent of the school in the community as it is also an open system that receive from me give back to the .society

He's impressed that the commissioner does not waste time in engagement and everyone is free to come around to the office anytime the need arises.

In his remark, Mr Victor (another staff of the ministry) opined the need to support the commissioner in Prayer, but with an assurance that the ministry would live to and for the good of the common Ekiti man and youth.

While addressing the team, the commissioner was in high spirit and could not hide his joy at receiving the team. He  cited the 6 pillars of the present administration in the state being interlocked and and how every of the pillar was to develop the common man and have a shared prosperity.

He opined that the ministry is primarily to allow people express themselves, guide them through and create opportunities for them to be self sufficient.

He seized the opportunity to appeal to the Ekiti youths to seize the opportunities around them and shift from the normalcy of laziness and get rich quick syndrome that has eaten deep amongst many. Also, he appealed to parents to cutback on the pressures they mount on the youths as this is a major reason for the many social vices today. He promised that the ministry is trying assiduously to create an enabling environment for all and sundry.


He explained some of the activities and plans currently ongoing to include:

1. Data collation to capture all unemployed youths people in the state Ekiti wealth creation (click the link to register)

2. Wema bank training of youths, artisans and those that can manage fund. He noted that the target is to train 100, 000 youth and that communication will ensue when the program will commence.

3. Agency banking in all villages with a minimum of 200 super agents and over 2,000 support staff; thereby aiding life of those in the rural areas and also taking Ekiti youths off the street without job

4. Employment trust fund where access to fund is given to those who can't go to or access the bank.

6. Agric village set up: The commissioner opened that it is the plan of the government to provide a settlement for farmers of related field. This will help reduce cost of production and the entire cost would be shared by all while still maximizing profit.

On a final note, the commissioner vowed to continue to work tirelessly till every youth in the state is engaged profitably.
