LIVING YOUTHS VISIT OKE'DANRE

On Saturday 30th March, 2024 in commemoration of their 2024 annual youth convention/retreat, living youths visited Idanre Hill in all funfair and jubilation.

The youths departed Akure at about 7:00am and upon their arrival at about 7:43am at the Hill resort, their registration was done seamlessly and a tour guide was assigned.
The youths were in high spirits when the tour started. The tour guide led while the youths followed in no distance march. Part of the places visited included the ancient palace, igboore primary School built by the Christian Missionary Society  members in 1896, the hills ancient court, the ancient market, Arun River, the tourist chalets built by the whites for rest and reservation, Apaara water, the Adiye kowe oyinbo kaati natural inscription on one of the mount etc
Oke Idanre is said to be 3000 feet above sea level 😲 😲 😲, 50Km in radius with a very large circumference. 
The sacredness and preservation of the hill is a wonder to many of the youths in attendance.

It was amidst fun fare and all joy as the church of God, Living Christ Gospel Church celebrates the one year thanksgiving of the fatal accident that almost crumbled the church.
