COVID-19 LOCKDOWN; THE LESSONS AND WAY FORWARD.

No one expected or envisage this pandemic to happen or affect every sector of our Nation like this. We all went about our businesses with little or no knowledge of what is about to hit us. I saw a lot of family thrown into mishap and many individuals lost their job. 

This made me sit and think of lessons you should learn from COVID-19 lockdown.

1. It clearly shows the supremacy of God. We humans, particularly Christains have little or no acknowledgement of who God truly is, but this pandemic makes us see him in another dimension.

2. The pretence and hypocrisy of most self-acclaimed Christains were exposed. We have individuals who rarely study the scripture for the past five months. Many christains also gave in to the situations. Their attitude and way of life was dictated by the wave of the moment. "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ...." Rom 8:35 was clearly demonstrated. "I am convinced...." Rom8:38. Truly, I'm convinced that the news of sickness and death make many believers to compromise the aforementioned scripture. 

3. Death is inevitable.I challenge believers to stop running around not to die but start running ahead to make heaven. Just as Christ could not change how he died, you would not also be able to change yours. No man under heaven can. Note this, every new discovery comes with either life or death. When something new is discovered, some will be blessed through it, while some will die by it.  Nevertheless, all will die.

4. Unprepared future: The future is something we create today, not what we enter into by chance or miracle. COVID-19 exposed the truth that, both leaders and followers alike never plan ahead. They do not plan for the unforseen nor invest into the future.

The future is neither a miracle nor a mystery, but an harvest of the either good or bad choices we make today. The betterment or the brightness of our future are the outcome or result of the good choices we make today.

Hear this, no oil, water, stickers on car, prophets, pastors no matter the anointing can create your future. You have to carefully plan it out.
I believe we shall hear of anointed nose mask very soon. All these has nothing to add to a brighter future.

It was amidst fun fare and all joy as the church of God, Living Christ Gospel Church celebrates the one year thanksgiving of the fatal accident that almost crumbled the church.
