DON’T GIVE UP

TEXT: LUKE 19:1-10 I want to preach today about the topic “Don’t Give Up”. Why this topic don’t give up? It means, there will always be something that will want to make you to give up. The word “Don’t give up” is a sweet word to hear, it’s even very cheap to utter. These words have become more of a slogan than an action word. Today when you see someone passing through a hard time or a deep mess it is very easy to tap him at his back and say “Don’t give up” because you don’t really know how deep the mess. PULLING DOWN STRONGHOLDS THROUGH PRAYER

*TEXT: 2 COR 10:4-5, ROM 12:12* No doubt, stronghold are difficulties. It can be either spiritual or physical but you need to pray faithfully to demolish them. Man pray, they pray hard, spend long hours in prayers, quote all notable bible passages but one of the reasons for lack or answers is the unfaithfulness of the personality. Prayer is the privilege to be able to speak to God Himself. Ability to take my matter to my creator without an intermediary. *Prayer is not what is said to force God to give unto us, but prayer is what is said to receive from God that which he already longs to give us.* God longs to give us Joy, victory, blessings, a peaceful nation, good health, a blessed country. HISTORY OF THE CHURCH

Living Christ Gospel Church was founded by His Most Eminence, Primate (Dr) Nathaniel Olorunsola J.P. an indigene of Ayede Ekiti in Ekiti state. His birth was surrounded with lots of miraculous happening in 1954.

The church started as Aladural Church in late 1981 through a mandatory directive or the Holy Spirit upon the founder with the headquarter in Ado Ekiti. As a result of further illumination form God, in 1994, the name of the church was changed to Living Christ Gospel church and it was registered with Corporate Affairs Commission in 1998.

After rigorous and energetic work done by the founder, the mantle of leadership of the administrative head of the church was handed over to his first son in 2009 as directed by the Holy Spirit in person of (His Eminence, Most Rev. (Dr.) OTIS Olorunsola JP) since 2009 till date the young amiable, energetic and God fearing man remains both the administrative and the official spiritual leader of the church.

Through the tireless effort of Most Rev OTIS Olorunsola (The General Overseer) the church has experienced lot of both Spiritual and physical transformation which includes taking the church to united state of America and under his administration the church of God keeps progressing on daily basis. Living Christ gospel church is a place to worship God in spirit and in truth and a place of abundant blessing with parishes majorly in the south west part of the country.
